In 2023 we helped Josh (aka Zerkaa) rebrand from being ZRK to Internet Made.
ZRK was tied to his personal brand Zerkaa and was therefore mostly seen as Merchandise.
The goal of the rebranding was to create a business that works on its own without him being the face of it. That increases the brand’s value and enables the business to make different decisions.
In October 2023 we sold the last drop for ZRK where we sold out immediately.
20% of the sales came from email marketing.
In December 2023 we then launched Internet Made and sold out the first drop within a couple of hours. This time 66% of the sales came from email marketing. That shows how important it is to build an email list and to own your audience.
Over the last couple of years, big influencers have built audiences on several different platforms. They post on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, upload videos to YouTube, have a Podcast on Spotify, and stream on Twitch. And if a thought comes to mind, they tweet it.
However, EVERY influencer has a major problem. Algorithms. If any of these platforms decides not to show their content anymore, they are ruined.
That is where owning your audience comes into play.
Yes you can post a story on Instagram and it will reach a good amount of your audience.
